The Clubhouse

The club boasts an outstanding clubhouse with an amazing outlook over Rothesay Bay. It has a function room, bar, toilet, shower and changing facilities. Underneath we have secure storage, a dinghy park, and launch ramp with electric winch.

Our Events Calendar

The club hosts a whole program of events, including club cruises, picnics & BBQ'S. We have an annual opening and closing muster. There's also prizegiving dinners and there is always lots to do, all in the company of a friendly group of like minded people.

Sailing Tuition

Cadet and Adult

The club offers organised cadet and adult training and has two new boats which are ideal for training and use by club members. Don't miss out on an opportunity to try your hand at sailing.

The objectives of the Club are encouraging, promoting and facilitating water sports for all on the Isle of Bute, regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation or disability.

During the season, sailing takes place on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

Weather permitting the races start at 7.00 pm on a Wednesday, and 2.00 pm on a Sunday. However, on some occasions racing may be replaced by training sessions suitable for all abilities.

The Club also organises social events that includes opening and closing musters, a club picnic and dinner with prizegiving, and barbeques, the bar is also open to all during club hours.
